The Department of Academic Quality was established at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie in ‎‎2011 to be one of the most important pillars of the university in supporting the educational process.‎
Since its establishment, the department has been keen on everyone participation, motivating them ‎to adhere to quality standards, and contributing to providing the best services internally and ‎externally, in a way that achieves the department vision, mission, and goals, which reflects positively ‎on all elements of the academic, administrative, and professional system in the university, and works ‎to complete it according to the highest modern standards. to achieve the required development.‎
The department tasks, activities, and responsibilities vary in terms of participating in policy-making ‎and developing the skills of workers, following up on the colleges achievements in the field of ‎academic quality, and ensuring that quality standards are met at the university level.‎

Promote a culture of academic quality in all academic practices through an integrated and comprehensive framework.

‎•‎ Build an internal quality assurance system at the university level, colleges, and departments ‎through continuous performance measurement and evaluating of educational processes ‎periodically.‎
‎•‎ Propose internal academic evaluation criteria, review, and develop our own measurement ‎tools.‎
‎•‎ Coordinate and supervise the university’s preparations for the implementation of institutional ‎evaluation processes, and internal and external programs.‎
‎•‎ Evaluate academic programs before submitting them to the National Authority for ‎Accreditation and Quality in higher education institutions in order to ensure that they meet the ‎requirements of the authority.‎
‎•‎ Spread the quality culture at the university level and provide staff and students with the skills ‎required to implement new procedures and working mechanisms.‎
‎•‎ Propose awards for excellence in quality, set standards and supervise their implementation.‎
‎•‎ Receive complaints and suggestions about the quality of academic processes and the general ‎environment at the university from students and staff.‎
‎•‎ Prepare periodic reports on quality activities and achievements at the university and ‎department levels.‎
