The Loans and Grants Department looks forward to helping students and providing a range of grants ‎and aids, whether grants and exemptions approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education ‎or external grants through supportive agencies and institutions for needy and distinguished students. ‎To help them complete their university education and build an urban society based on social solidarity ‎so that it enjoys social responsibility towards the individual and towards the Palestinian society that ‎aspires to build its independent state of scientific and creative excellence.‎
The department seeks to build a communication network between the student base and the ‎department to create a comprehensive database for students through an electronic student grants ‎and aid program that enables the department to reach those needy and outstanding students in an ‎easier and faster way, help them and provide those scholarships and aids to those who need them.‎
The department guides students about these grants and exemptions and the mechanism for ‎benefiting from them, whether through counseling meetings or brochures, in order to reach those ‎who deserve them with all credibility and accuracy.‎

Providing permanent scholarships and exemptions for students to help them complete their academic ‎careers.‎

• Enhancing students access to a decent educational level, and contributing to the preparation and ‎qualification of human resources in Palestine, by encouraging students to study in various ‎educational specializations in light of the general educational policy. ‎
• Providing sustainable financial resources to lend to students during the school years.‎
• Establishing clear and transparent mechanisms, controls, and determinants for students to obtain ‎study loans.‎
• Provide equal opportunities for all students without discrimination by benefiting from loans and ‎grants.‎
• Establishing a clear and transparent system for managing the processes of granting loans and ‎mechanisms for repaying them to students, and ensuring the achievement of transparency and ‎integrity through the Loan Fund for Students of Higher Education Institutions in Palestine.‎
