An engineering team from Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie won second place at the Arab level in the “EcoSeed” Challenge that was organized at Birzeit University’s Technopark.
The team joined the challenge with a creative practical innovation called “RPW Treatment Robot,” which is smart AI technology in agriculture that detects and gets rid of the dangerous palm weevil.
The team was comprised of Prof. Samer Sa’adi as the team supervisor and coordinator, and the students: Safa’ Yaghi, Manar Hijjazi, Dana Shaltaf, and Mahmoud Dawood.
The University Acting President, Prof. Hussein Shanak proudly congratulated the winning team for this creative achievement, hoping more of the same excellence and success in scientific and practical life in the future.
