Third: Ramallah Branch

PTUK’s Ramallah Branch was founded in 1952 as a women’s college that aimed to graduate qualified
teachers in various literary and scientific disciplines.

For over five decades, alumnae of the college had significant contributions in the dissemination of
knowledge and the empowerment of females in Palestine and the Arab Gulf region.

In 1994, a decree from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education transferred the college into a
technical college for girls that eventually merged with PTUK.
