Central Library

Established in 1930 as a part of an agricultural school, PTUK’s library ranks as one of the oldest libraries in

Palestine. Today, the library hosts rich and broad selection of resources in different fields of science, tech-

nology and literature. Through its databases, the University also provides access to a vast amount of mate-

rial published in journals, newspapers, periodicals and other specialist collections.

The Library is at the center of the University’s community, promoting faculty staff capacities, offering in-

teractive and student-centered education, and improving the proposed services for the interested com-

munity particularly in scientific research. It has also obtained membership in the Arab Union Catalog, Jor-

dan Library and Information Association, the Palestinian Library and Information Consortium PALICO, the

Electronic Information for Libraries EIFL as well as being part of Erasmus+ ROMOR Project: building digital

repositories in Palestine.
