Students will explore the nature of small businesses, the characteristics of self-employment, and the key success factors in entrepreneurial ventures, including planning, idea development, and selecting an appropriate business model. The course also covers the preparation of a comprehensive business plan that integrates marketing, pricing, and digital promotion, while providing students with the basics of financial management, cost estimation, and funding methods. The course will introduce the factors that influence design, design elements, design vocabulary, measurement, proportions, site analysis, program and general urban planning.

    This course walks the students through the most important milestones and advancements in the world architecture from the old days of architecture till today’s modern architectures. The course will provide students with solid understanding of the methods of constructing buildings and other factors that influenced the architecture on each time through example buildings on each period.

    This course focuses on different 3D architectural programs (3D AutoCAD &3D MAX).

    In this course, the student knows the actual methods for measuring by using the tools, computing the areas and volumes of soil in long section given. Finding also the bearings leveling and knowledge of surveying rules and lows in Palestine. The site of our field is playgrounds and the halls of our university.

    In this course the student knows in this course the actual details of full reinforcements of the building from footings surface up to slabs ,we cover also full long section and details of ground beams and slab beams and staircases .


  • 3152201: Field Training I [2 Credit Hours]

    In this course, the students will learn how to work cooperatively in teams, which mimics corporate cultures. Moreover, they learn how to submit engineering transactions, and they visit sites of projects under construction.

    The course reviews the concept of construction contracts, through the elements of agreements, construction contracting types, the relationship between each of contractor, owner and the consulting engineer, in addition to the construction specification according to "FIDIC".

This course also covers some athletics competitions and how to organize some sports tournaments.

Safety engineering and management with emphasis on control of hazardous materials, fire prevention, safety considerations in production facility design and maintenance, and operation of effective safety programs.
