The College of Agricultural Engineering was established in 2011 as the College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, an extension of the Kadoorie Agricultural School, which was founded in 1930. The decision to establish the college stemmed from the university administration%27s belief in the need to restore the agricultural heritage of this venerable institution, known for its agricultural history and for graduating numerous agricultural professionals renowned locally, regionally, and internationally.
The College of Agricultural Engineering seeks to achieve leadership, innovation, and excellence in agricultural technical education by offering a range of new academic programs that keep pace with the tremendous progress in agricultural sciences.
