PTUK’s President Assistant for Public and Community Relations Ahmad Ammar, received on Saturday May 5, the iconic Iraqi poet, MunaimAl Faqeer accompanying with a delegation from the Ministry of Culture to look at PTUK’s history and the high educational service it delivers in Palestine and the Arab world.
The delegates were shown PTUK’s future master plan and were also taken out for a tour around the university’s facilities to see the size of damage resulted from the Israeli military training camp on the university’s lands and the continuous incursions at Kadoorie University.
At the end of the visit, which was a sideline to the Book International Fair, Ahmad Ammar stressed the university’s keenness to build strong relationships with Palestinian and Arab writersso as to be cultural figures in the memories of the university students.
