The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Prof Marwan Awartani signed a memorandum of understanding with the President of Arab American University – Jenin Dr. Ali Abu Zohri in the field of academic and research cooperation to develop new joint academic diploma, bachelor and master programs in presence of the Dean of the PTUK High Studies, Dr. Hussein Shanak and the Chairman of the Board of Directors at AAUJ, Dr. Yousef Asfour.
The agreement included cooperation over academic programs, development of joint research activities, easing the academic staff and students exchanging programs and exchanging the outcomes of the educational efforts and the academic research as well as sharing administrative and technical expertise that give rise to the interest of the two universities.
The agreement more precisely focused on cooperation in the joint international activities and projects such as Erasmus+, the development of founding international active partnerships especially with those concerned in the fields of academic, scientific and social aspects such as UNESCO, cooperation in leadership and innovation fields in addition to the establishment of joint academic programs.
