Detainees Issue in Contemporary Palestinian Literature: PTUK Participates in Detainees Conference Organized By QOU

Academic Staff of Public Culture Department and Prisoners’ Movement Course lecturers at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie shared experience in the “Detainees Conference” entitled “Issue of Detainees in Contemporary Palestinian Literature” which was organized by Al Quds Open University on September 12, 2018 at Millennium Hotel in Ramallah.
Intesar Alsalman, Dr. Mohammad Ishtewi and Ahmad Ammar represented the University in the conference along with lots of Palestinian poets and authors, from the West Bank and Gaza Strip, who proposed 16 research studies that had detainees’ subjects in poetry, prose and literary purposes.
The subject of Prisoners’ Movement has had great interest by PTUK’s academic staff, who lately arranged to include an academic elective course to be taught in the University.
