In cooperation with Tulkarem’s governorate ,student Union Council at Palestine Technical University-Kadoorie marked Women's Day.
The day was marked with the participation of Kadoorie’s president Prof. Marwan Awartani , Tulkarem’s Governor Issam Abu Baker , Fatah’s Secretary General Moaiad Shaaban, and feminist activists in the province.
The celebration included speeches stressing the important role women play in the cultural, economic, and scientific fields in the Palestinian community ,the obstacles they face and their role as the backbones of the Palestinian resistant movement .
At the end of the event , merit certificates were distributed to the university’s working women , to local community organizations and university students.
