PTUK Organizes a Seminar under the Title: Solving the Palestinian Cause is an International Responsibility

PTUK organized a seminar under the title: Solving the Palestinian Cause is an International Responsibility. The lecture was delivered by the consultant of President of the State of Palestine and professor at Beir Zeit University, Husam Zumlot.
This lecture was organized within the framework of Afaq forum. In this seminar, pof. Zumlot talked about the Palestinian government’s new approaches towards a political settlement. These approaches are based on gaining an international consensus and support of the Palestinian rights rather than a relationship that is based on the patronage of international parties.
Prof. Zumlot also talked about the experience of the Palestinian political system, especially in the aftermath of the Oslo agreement and in light of the various crises faced by the Palestinian reality and which include internal division and the existence of the Israeli right-wing government extremists.
It is worth mentioning in this context that the seminar was attended by the university’s rector, Prof. Marwan Awartani and was mediated by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs Dr. Naifeh Assaf.
