PTUK Finishes its Preparations for the Third International Conference on Olive in Palestine

The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie has finished all the necessary preparations for the Third International Conference on Olive in Palestine that is to be held from 7-8 December 2016 on the university’s campus in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture, Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission , Agricultural Development Association, Oxfam, Environment Quality Authority, Canaan Institution, the Union of Agricultural work committees and Palestinian universities in the West Bank.
The Chairman of the Conference- Dr. Basil Al-Natsheh explained that the conference aims to shed light on the olive sector in Palestine and provide a room for researchers and experts to discuss the latest developments in scientific research and technology associated with the olive sector.
Dr. Al-Natsheh also added that the conference will include international experts in the field of olives from Italy, Jordan, Tunisia and Morocco.
It is worth noting that parallel to the conference, an agricultural exhibition of olive products will be held.
