President of Kadoorie University Receives a Delegation the Dutch Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education NUFFIC

The president of Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, prof. Marwan Awartani convened with the representative of the Dutch Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC), Tjay Koen Yap to discuss means of joint cooperation in the field of postgraduate studies in the presence of the university rector’s assistant- Dr. Derar Eleyyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology- Dr. Tahseen Sayera, the visiting professor at the faculty of agriculture- Dr. Sameer Abu Baker, and the university’s fund’s recruitment officer- Hisham Qaddoumi.
During the meeting, Dr. Awartani stressed the importance of enhancing intellectual cooperation through networking with other higher education institutions and universities around the world stressing the necessity of working on programs that qualify students and facilitate their integration in the labor market.
For his part, Koen Yap gave a detailed explanation of their current project in Palestinian universities which seeks to qualify graduate students by integrating them into the labor market.
In a related context, the organization has provided € 10,766 to finance master's research of students at the College of Agricultural Science and Technology and equipment worth € 125,000.
