Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has launched an advanced digital platform aimed at organizing and documenting student exchange processes among Arab universities. The launch took place during the university's participation in the 30th Arab Forum for Exchanging Training Opportunities among Universities of the Arab Council for Training and Creativity, hosted by Libyan Open University in Tripoli from April 15 to April 20.
Dr. Mohammad Khalil, a representative of the university and a faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, delivered a detailed presentation of the final version of the platform. Fully developed in-house at the university, the platform is designed to facilitate student exchange through integrated digital solutions, including documentation, archiving, and generating activity reports for the forum.
Dr. Khalil highlighted that the platform is the result of collaborative efforts between supervisors and students in the Computer Engineering Department, under the direct supervision of the university's Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mu'tamad Al-Khatib, with technical support from the university's Computer Center. He emphasized that the project reflects the university's commitment to digital transformation and providing technical solutions that serve higher education in the Arab world.
The forum administration expressed its appreciation to Khadouri University for this achievement, praising the innovation and professionalism demonstrated in the design and implementation of the platform. It also acknowledged the platform's role in supporting digital transformation efforts within the Arab Council.
In conclusion, Dr. Khalil extended his gratitude to the team of colleagues and students, as well as the Computer Center for their technical support. He noted that this initiative represents a successful model of academic and technical collaboration in addressing issues of education and training in the Arab region.
