The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK, Prof. Hussein Shanak, along with the Director of its Ramallah branch, Prof. Gultan Hejazi, and the accompanying delegation, met with the Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Dr. Laila Ghannam, during a visit to the Governorate’s headquarters.
The meeting included a briefing on the university’s developmental projects and academic programs, which aim to enhance the quality of education and meet the needs of students as well as the labor market.
For her part, Governor Dr. Laila Ghannam praised PTUK’s national and pioneering role in preparing a conscious, qualified generation capable of serving the homeland, affirming the Governorate’s support for the university and its commitment to backing its educational and national mission.
In turn, PTUK President Prof. Hussein Shanak stressed that the university is continuing advancing in its developmental and academic journey with steady steps, expressing pride in its partnerships with all national institutions.
He emphasized the importance of collective efforts to support the university and enable it to further contribute to the advancement of higher education in Palestine.
Prof. Shanak also added that, as the State University, PTUK is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality technical and technological education for all Palestinian students, thereby enhancing their ability to enter the labor market or engage effectively in public and private sector institutions, reaffirming the university’s national commitment to ensuring quality education for all segments of Palestinian society.
