The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK, Prof. Hussein Shanak, received a delegation from the Youth Economic Empowerment Foundation today.
The delegation was led by the Foundation’s Executive Director, Ms. Sahar Othman, with the participation of the Foundation’s strategic partner in Tulkarm, Mr. Yousef Al-Hajj Qasem, and representatives Ms. Dima Shahrouh and Ms. Jwan Safran.
The meeting was attended by PTUK’s Assistant to the President for Planning, Development, and Quality Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Shwaika; Dean of the Faculty of Community Development and Service, Dr. Raed Qarout; and the Public Relations and Media team.
The meeting focused on exploring avenues of joint cooperation to implement youth-oriented programs, with particular emphasis on developing media skills and knowledge for young women, in line with the needs of the labor market and the media sector.
Prof. Shanak affirmed the university’s commitment to supporting such strategic partnerships that contribute to empowering youth and strengthening their role in community development.
He commended the Foundation’s efforts in developing impactful programs that enhance the participation of both young women and men, aligning with PTUK’s strategic and developmental vision.
