President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie PTUK, Prof. Hussein Shanak, met with the university’s student teams who achieved top rankings in the 7th National Wooden Bridge Competition, expressing his pride in their remarkable accomplishment, which reflects the competence, creativity, and applied engineering excellence of PTUK students.
During the meeting, Prof. Shanak congratulated the students and their supervisors for their dedicated efforts and collaborative spirit, which led to this success. He also listened to their ideas and needs to further develop training environments and enhance engineering practices at the university, encouraging them to continue participating in national and regional competitions.
Prof. Shanak wished the teams continued success, affirming that PTUK consistently stands out for its students’ achievements across academic and practical domains and remains proud of their accomplishments and potential for future innovation.
For his part, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Jaafar Al-Masri, commended the students’ achievements and competitive spirit, emphasizing their commitment to excellence and innovation. He also thanked the university administration for its ongoing support in providing an enabling learning environment that nurtures students’ technical and professional growth.
Dr. Al-Masri added that such participations help enhance students’ practical skills, foster teamwork, and promote creative problem-solving, while opening doors for experience exchange with other universities, thereby strengthening engineering education and preparing graduates for distinguished professional careers.
