Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie President, Prof. Hussein Shanak, welcomed the Dean of Yabous College, Dr. Emad Nazzal, to discuss prospects for mutual cooperation in the field of technical education. The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Moatamed Al-Khatib, Assistant to the President, Dr. Mahmoud Salah, the Dean of Palestine Community College, Dr. Feras Salih, along with several university staff members specialized in relevant fields.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Shanak welcomed the visiting delegation and presented an overview of PTUK’s academic programs—especially at the diploma level—highlighting the significance of technical and vocational education in meeting the needs of the local labor market and enhancing employment opportunities for graduates of universities and technical colleges. He emphasized that the university is open to diverse forms of partnership with academic institutions to serve the public interest.
For his part, Dr. Emad Nazzal expressed his appreciation for PTUK’s efforts in higher education, affirming Yabous College’s commitment to building effective partnerships with Palestinian academic institutions in a way that supports the technical and vocational education sector and contributes to developing national competencies in this vital field.
