PTUK Signs Jordanian Twinning Agreement to Boost Fashion Cooperation

Palestine Technical University–Kadoorie PTUK, represented by Samer Al-Saabi, Director of the Center of Competence for Fashion Design and the Manufacturing of Wearing Apparel, signed a twinning agreement with the Apparel Design and Training Services Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, represented by its Executive Director, Hassan Al-Nasour. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in fashion design, training, exchange of expertise, and joint activities and visits, supporting the development of academic and professional skills in the fashion and apparel sector.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jazar from PTUK’s College of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, and from the Jordanian side, Project Manager Ihab Qadri and Mira Jweinat.

During the ceremony, Al-Saabi emphasized that the agreement reflects the university’s commitment to building effective partnerships with regional training institutions, providing students and trainees with valuable opportunities to benefit from Jordan’s advanced experience in fashion and garment production.

For his part, Al-Nasour expressed his pleasure in collaborating with PTUK, praising its strong academic and professional standing. He highlighted the Center’s readiness to implement joint programs that raise training quality and develop the capacities of students and professionals in both countries.

This agreement aligns with PTUK’s strategy to strengthen regional relations and expand applied and vocational programs that meet the needs of the fashion and apparel industry in Palestine.
