The Deanship of Development and Community Service at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie held a virtual meeting, chaired by Dr. Raed Al-Qarout, with Mr. Riyad Khanfar, Executive Director of Madarat Center, to discuss prospects for cooperation and the possibility of the University joining the Rased Palestine Coalition.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Dean Mr. Khalil Al-Tayeh and Director of Continuing Education Mr. Amer Yassin. Discussions addressed the Alliance’s scope of work and its initiatives aimed at strengthening civic space, expanding community participation, and supporting programs that enhance the roles of youth and women in public life.
Participants also explored avenues for knowledge exchange, collaboration between civil society actors and academic institutions, and the implementation of programs and training courses designed to build the capacities of youth and community activists.
The meeting concluded with agreement to initiate the necessary procedures toward signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the University and the Rased Palestine Coalition, reinforcing institutional partnership and advancing sustainable community development objectives.
