PTUK TVETCQ Participates in Palestinian Training Visit in Germany

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie took part in a conducting visit to Germany within the Development of TVET Pedagogical Competences and Qualification in the Palestinian Universities TVETCQ, which is one of the Erasmus+ funded by the European Union and supervised by Kadoorie University.
The training visit was conducted at the University of Applied Studies Management UAMS in Germany in participation of the Palestinian universities and partner ministries in the project: Al-Quds University, the University College for Applied Sciences in Gaza, Palestine Polytechnic University, Arab American University, An-Najah National University, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Labor.
The training visit aimed at exchanging expertise and practices in the field of vocational and technical training and at learning from the international experiences in connection with restructuring the training program in the universities towards technical and vocational learning and training.
The visit program, that lasted thirteen days from 11 - 23 of November, 2021 at UAMS in Manheim in Germany, contained training activities that serve the topics: vocational and technical education and training, business entrepreneurship and leadership, daily life skills, solar energy, the internet of things, adult care, agriculture, startups, professional safety and health along with many other topics.
The Project Coordinator from Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, Dr. Nuha Iter expressed, in the welcoming speech, her fully appreciation and gratitude to the organizers in the host university who successfully hosted the training visit and got the job done properly receiving thirty participants at the same time in one place under difficult situations particularly COVID-19 restrictions.

In this context, the President of the University of Applied Management Studies, Prof. Perizat Daglioglu welcomed the Palestinian delegates commending their cooperation between the Palestinian universities and expressed their university’s pleasure participating in this project.
Additionally, Kadoorie University introduced a symbolic souvenir representing all Palestinian partners in the TVETCQ Project.
