University President Praises the Catalan’s support for Palestine in Education and Scientific Research

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, represented by its president Prof. Nouraldin Abualrob and the Technical University of Barcelona represented by its president Juan Guardia A. Walmos, signed a cooperation agreement in the fields of research and academia in Barcelona, Spain. The agreement is part of the project of academic cooperation between Palestine represented by the Palestinian Farmers Union, Kadoorie University, and the Catalan Government represented by the Catalan Peace Cooperation Organization. Prof. Abualrob praised the support and attention given by the Catalan Government by directing support through its international institutions to help the Palestinian people in the fields of knowledge, the advancement of local agricultural communities, and women empowerment in remote areas. Kadoorie’s delegation discussed with the Catalan academics and researchers the implementation of the smart farm project, the virtual exchange of teaching within the master's program of water science innovations, student exchange, as well as opening up the prospects for cooperation to present research and academic projects.
