A Russian Delegation from Tambov University Visit PTUK

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie received, on Monday May 7, an academic delegation from the Tambov State Technical University – Russia, represented by the Director of Russian Cultural Center (RCC) Alexander Serikon and the History professor Dr. Igor Mikhailov along with Dr. Mohammad Najajra, Baha’a Yehya and Dr. Rihab Al sa’di from Al Istiqlal University and from the Palestinian Russian Academic Society PRAS.
The Delegates discussed means of joint cooperation between PTUK and the Russian universities in general and with Tambov University in particular.
In this context, the University Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Mutamid Al Khatib and PTUK academic staff who graduated from Russian universities – Dr. Mohammad Khali and Samer Al Sa’di – discussed with the delegation academic exchange programs between PTUK and the Russian universities, scientific and research centers in addition to the possibility of holding educational courses to teaching Russian language in the Continuing Education Center.
During their visit, Prof Igor delivered a lecture on Russia’s role in the Second World War in presence of a crowd from the university students and academic staff.
