Kadoorie and Bisan Center Sign MoU for Agricultural Cooperation

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, represented by the Acting President, Prof. Husein Shanak, and Palestine Bisan Center for Research and Development, represented by the CEO Mr. Obai Abodi signed a memorandum of cooperation to provide suitable environment for the agricultural students empowering their abilities to create new innovative ideas.

The signing ceremony took place at the PTUK president office in Tulkarem and was attended by the Administrative Vice President, Dr. Ahmad Shweikeh, the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Alaa Isa, the Dean of Agricultural College Dr. Wafaa Masoud, and the Public Relations and Media Director, Mr. Azmi Saleh.

Prof. Shanak welcomed the guests expressing his pleasure signing a potential agreement with one of the most significant research centers in Palestine, and explaining that Kadoorie University always gives great interest for the agricultural college as it’s part of the university’s historic academic origin since 1930.

He added that the college is always keen to build promising partnerships in agricultural applied research with multiple local and international institutions through its well-qualified staff and the college’s agricultural research center.

For his part, Mr. Abodi said that Bisan Center endeavors great efforts with universities to produce knowledge in the agricultural development and be applied practices by the students as the agricultural sector is considered a basic economic pillar in Palestine.
