PTUK Organizes “Be Ready for the Job Market” Workshop

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (PTUK), through the Graduate Follow-Up Department, organized an intensive training workshop titled “Be Ready for the Job Market.” The workshop ran for four days, totaling 20 training hours, and aimed to equip students and recent graduates with the skills needed to enhance their readiness for employment and broaden their professional opportunities.

The workshop covered key topics, including leadership skills, effective communication, CV writing, and preparation for job interviews. These themes were designed to strengthen participants’ competitiveness and support them in building successful career paths.

The workshop was supervised by Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Alaa Issa and organized with the support of Assistant Dean Mr. Maher Abu Baker, in cooperation with trainers Mr. Atta Salem and Mr. Wajdi Al-Jallad. The trainers delivered interactive content supported by real-life examples and diverse training methods that encouraged active participation and helped develop students’ personal and professional skills.

Dr. Issa emphasized that the workshop reflects the University’s commitment to empowering its students and preparing them for future challenges by equipping them with practical skills, strengthening their self-confidence, and enhancing their ability to successfully enter the labor market. He noted that this effort aligns with PTUK’s vision of bridging the gap between academic outcomes and the needs of society and the job market.
