Palestine Technical University hosted the periodical meeting for the committee of the General Union of People with Disabilities in Tulkarem governorate, in the presence of the Dean of Development and Community Services- Dr. Omran Eleyyan, the Director of the Department of Community Services- Rashid Al-Ramini, and the head of advancement and community service- Dr. Khaled Omar.
During the meeting, Dr. Eleyyan stressed the university's interest in supporting people with disabilities through positive discrimination and through targeting them in the university's scholarships.
For his part, the head of the General Union for People with Disabilities stressed the importance of partnership with Kadoorie University for its great role in developing awareness among the society about the right of people with disabilities to access services like other groups in the society.
