Entrepreneurship and Innovation
In line with its academic and administrative development, PTUK made it a part of its mission to link the
academic life with business reality through training, incubation, research and consultation.
As such, the University sought to promote innovation and creativity by fostering partnerships with leading
local and international institutions that help hone the students’ skills by delivering training programs that
support students and PTUK community to develop business ideas and transform them into viable start-
ups.
PTUK also launched a number of programs that promote on-campus entrepreneurship such as Wakeb Fo-
rum, which organizes lectures delivered by distinguished expat Palestinian academics and Afaq Forum,
which holds periodic dialogues between students and experts in order to create awareness about the im-
portance of entrepreneurship and to develop individuals' skills to become potential entrepreneurs.
