International Academic Cooperation
Palestine Technical University -Kadoorie has exerted the efforts since granted full state university in 2007
to empower presence in the international community and to achieve advanced ranking levels through the
promotion of academic cooperation and networking with related counterparts. It has also obtained full
membership in the Associations of Arab, Islamic and International Universities and joined several presti-
gious organizations world-wide.
Kadoorie University worked on signing memoranda of understanding with international education insti-
tutions and has always been keen to deepen relationship with Arab and foreign consulates and embassies
in line with the University’s strategy to leverage academic status in the international community, foster
opportunities in joint academic, research and technical programs, maintain exchange programs, bring to-
gether international visitors, lecturers, researchers and scholars, develop international joint projects with
renowned higher education institutions, hold conferences and summer school courses, host international
experts of different fields, and promote opportunities of potential scholarships and fellowship programs.
Additionally, the University has strengthened its available resources and raised funding through direct
communication with supportive individuals and international non-profit organizations. It has also resumed
the implementation of the funded projects to practice appropriate strategies for the great interest of the
current and future projects as well as the creation of a particular database for the international academic
cooperation.
