The Interior Design and Decoration program is designed to provide the graduate with distinguished practical skills in the field of the interior design of buildings in general, as well as interior furniture design, color combinations, carpentry, and models.
In this major, the graduate acquires extensive skills and experience in the design and implementation of interior design works and decorations necessary for buildings and architectural spaces, using modern technology and methods related to materials, raw materials, and modern executive methods such as carpentry, paint, and raw materials used, with the addition of practical experience in implementing decoration models in workshops, and gains the ability to implement Office and home furniture designs.
• Equipping graduates with skills and practical experience in many fields of architecture, such as drawing and designing architectural plans, showing them, drawing interior perspectives, as well as executive plans for buildings.
• Executing architectural models with accuracy and high efficiency, drawing and preparing sanitary, electrical, and construction plans by manual methods.
• Refining students%27 competence by using various and advanced computer programs in drawing and design to keep pace with technological progress.
• Qualifying highly qualified graduates to work in their field of specialization in public and private institutions, contracting companies, and engineering offices.
• Enabling the graduate to present initial ideas for the proposed projects, along with making detailed drawings and models.
• Enabling graduates to use the technique of calculating quantities and specifications for various projects.
